It makes my day to see my bridal clutches in use! I am loving this setting by a lovely bride Kaci. She and her new husband got married on my birthday. So exciting.
What a lovely backdrop! I love the simplicity of the burlap table runner and the Baby's Breath in the mason jar.
Yikes! Where have I been? In between school schedules with two kids and working on my many, many orders on Etsy, I have been seriously neglecting my blog and my lovely readers! I will make it up to you!
With school back in swing or just about for most of you, I always think of the lovely apple. I found some amazing recipes I had to share! Which one is your favorite?
What a difference a year makes! My daughter started 1st Grade without incidence.
I say that because last year 5 days before she was supposed to start Kindergarten, my oldest daughter broke her right (writing) arm. It was a compound fracture (the bone came out, yuck!) and she dislocated her elbow. That meant surgery and 3 days at the hospital.
I had to attend the meet the teacher night, alone. It was not the way I had envisioned Kindergarten to be for her. As parents, we always try to make everything perfect for our children. This was not perfect.
She was amazing on her first day, although pretty tired when she got home. She adapted, and learned to write with her left hand, and dresses (for my tom boy) were very helpful at bathroom time.
This year, everything was easy. I am hoping it stays that way!
Do you have any similar experiences with your children?
