I was exploring Pinterest, and I was moved by this beautiful, yet haunting photo of this long forgotten interior space.

The beautiful detail of this room in the ceiling and large windows allowing all of the natural light to come through is stunning.  It is fun to imagine what this room would have been like in its glory.

Sweetest Pin - Make a Tablecloth Fort for the Kids

This is the cutest, "wish I were a kid" again, pin.  Welcome to my newest series - Sweetest Pin.  Finding inspiration on Pinterest, from the many talented bloggers out there.

I just love this idea by Kate with Centsational Girl.  When I was a kid, I used to pull out every sheet and blanket my mom owned and created elaborate forts with her supported by all of her dining room chairs.  How amazing is this to have a subtle but amazingly fun place to play for the kids.  How I would have loved to have had my forts up permanently, with this you can!

There are so many amazing inspirations out there, and I love how Pinterest helps me keep them all organized!

Here is my first inspirational pin!  I just found this idea today, and just love how Landee See, Landee Do created these vase fillers with thumbtacks.

I am so into metallic colors right now and I love the simplicity and creative use of simple materials - thumbtacks! Wonderful drama from a simple material.
